Camping in the wild.
We are in the process of setting up a permanent camp spot. My parents own a fairly large amount of land in a remote area and have said we can camp on it whenever we want to. We went up last week to scout out locations where we might like to camp. There are a couple of things that are holding us back on the project. One thing is the lack of accessible water. We will have to bring in whatever water we need. This can be a bit of a job when you consider bathing, cooking, and whatnot. The other thing is the wildlife. The area is full of wildlife such as bear, deer, and everything in between. We aren’t really crazy about camping where there are lots of bears. There have been bears in state parks where we have camped but they always seem to move through fairly quickly. I am just not sure that I am keen on heading to the bathroom and crossing paths with a bear. I am likely thinking to much about it and making a bigger deal than I should but I can’t help myself.
