Eating well is expensive.

When I started eating fewer processed foods I really had no idea what it would do to our grocery budget. It has been quite an eye opening experience. Between looking for products with few artificial ingredients and budgeting for the added cost of healthy foods I really hate grocery shopping now. I would love to have a store in our area that sells weight loss products and natural foods because it would at least make the shopping aspect easier. In our rural area we only have two grocery stores. This not only limits my choices but also doesn’t really force stores to lower their prices. The prices for many items here are so high it is almost worth it to drive 40 miles to the nearest superstore to save money. I guess this is the price we pay for eating well and living in the middle of nowhere.
