Nasty clerk.
I was shopping yesterday. I had my 10 items on the belt. 8 of them were buy one get one free. I had the items laid out in pairs , with the coupon on the free item so that the clerk could instantly write the amount of the free item on the coupon. The clerk took one look at the belt, and in a loud voice said something really nasty. I was stunned and I didn’t say anything, but as soon as I was done, I went right to the manager to complain. She was getting talked to as soon as I left the store. The manager was walking over there immediately but I asked her to wait since I had to walk past her again.
Did I do the right thing, or was there something I should have done different? Have you ever had to report a clerk for something like this?
